Long before the ground is officially broken, the first contracts are concluded: We strongly recommend that you take comprehensive advice on the building project before entering into the agreements. The real estate must be comprehensively evaluated, i.e. not only legally or financially. The conclusion which is reached forms the basis for the builder’s further plans. Depending on the nature and scope of the project, this is followed by contracts concluded with project developers and other planers.
A great number of technical and legal issues also arise for the parties involved in the project, especially in major construction projects, during the construction phase. These issues must be resolved in a practical manner through legal advice throughout the construction phase. Our support is manifold: We can, for example, begin by demanding contractually owed performances and creating the formal preconditions to bring about the desired legal consequences. We then represent your company in defending against unjustified claims or in asserting justified subsequent claims (claim management). We naturally also advise you on formal acceptance of the works and on warranty issues.
We support your company both as bidder and as an awarding entity in all stages of a process for the placing of a contract, and especially in organising an allocation by tenders as well as a bid (see also the section “Companies”).
