The dependency of our economy on energy is growing. Like communications, electricity and gas supplies require infrastructure. The further opening of the energy markets in Germany by the amendment to energy law in 2005 is giving rise to new questions concerning especially access to the grids and regulation of grid utilisation fees.

We advise grid operators, suppliers and commercial energy consumers on all questions regarding the supply of energy, grid usage and unbundling. We support our clients in regulatory proceedings before the Federal Network Agency, Federal Cartel Board and state regulatory authorities as well as in judicial disputes on energy supply.

We draft and negotiate contracts on energy supply and energy contracting. Should a dispute arise in the course of execution of a contract, we will support you in and out of court in settling the conflict.

A further focus of our counselling work lies on renewable energies. We advise especially on questions relating to feeding of energy into the grid and cost allocation as well as on exemption from the related cost burdens in energy-intensive branches.
